The Audi quattro played a significant role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars.

While the body was like the Audi Coupé, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted strongly at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point.

Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp.

While the car itself remains an ageless classic, the “quattro” name is also still used by Audi for its four-wheel drive system.

This kit is an updated re-issue of Item 24031 1/24 Audi quattro with updated decals, instruction manual and packaging.

Features realistic depictions of inline-5 turbo engine, suspension and 4WD drive system. Interior features such as seats, dashboards and shift lever are also faithfully recreated. Decals capture striped patterns on seats.

Realistic synthetic rubber tires with tread patterns.

Comes with one driver figure and instructions depict four body colors for painting: silver, red, white and blue.
