This is a vintage down vest from Tempco.
It's famous because Ralph Lauren himself wore it, and it's a masterpiece of a down vest that Polo Ralph Lauren sampled. At the time, a down jacket of the same type was also released by Ralph Lauren.
Also, Steve McQueen was a fan of this Tempco vest.
As shown in the photos, there is some wear and tear, such as some soiling (fading) near the hem, but there is no particular damage.
Down vests from L.L.Bean and Eddie Bauer are also popular, but this one is overwhelmingly less common, more rare, and I think it's for the connoisseur.
