Worn for one season after purchase a few years ago, then stored in a chest. Selling due to decluttering.

Based on a blend of wool and cotton sweatshirts manufactured in the 1930s.
Faithfully reproducing this would result in a double-faced specification, but for practicality, it was made with a single-layer construction.

The soft, bouncy fabric feels great against the skin and provides a sense of comfort.
It retains the same pocket design as the original, the lock-stitched hood edge, and the cross-neck feature often seen in old hoodies.

The shoulders are set-in, but will conform to your body the more you wear it.
The body is made with a circular knitting (tsuri-ami) method, resulting in a shape that doesn't lose its form and avoids unnecessary stress.
Furthermore, the ribbing is seamless tubular ribbing, showcasing a high level of quality.

The fabric uses Wakayama-made tsuri-urake (loopwheeled fleece), which is not only soft to the touch but also highly absorbent and dries quickly when washed.
It's also moderately thick, making it durable and a piece you can wear for a long time.

Although it's fleece-lined, it doesn't use polyester.
The fabric is made of 100% cotton, so excess heat from the body is easily released, making it a comfortable fabric to wear.

Vintage enthusiasts and collectors often seek out items from that era.
However, even if found, they are likely to be at an exorbitant price and in questionable condition.
This is an item that clothing lovers will definitely appreciate.
