Authentic Rochard Limoges Wedding Chapel Trinket Box, Ring Box Keepsake Bride

Retired by famous Limoges maker, Rochard. Bride & Groom at Church Entrance! This Limoges box appears as a cathedral with tall bell-tower, stained-glass windows and rose bushes all around. At the entrance stand the wedding couple with a carpet with red hearts. Inside is a painting of a WEDDING BOUQUET. This exquisite Limoges is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detail and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp.

Limoges boxes are named for the region of Limoges France, where they originated. Originally made only for the wealthy, Limoges are of the highest quality. The delicate white porcelain boxes have become a symbol of love.

While being highly collectible itself, the box can also store a folded love note, a list of wishes, or even daily medication.
