BORLAs new marine muffler is constructed of high-grade 300 series austenitic polished stainless steel with a heavy duty _ inch base flange tapped for 3/8 inch stainless steel studs along with a polished mounting inner ring. Our RD results have shown T-316 stainless to be the most durable material for this applicationThe muffler tips are unique in that they each have a 5 inch step up outlet on a standard 4 inch installation for maximum flow without re-cutting your transom.
