These dvd's contain the full feature film but usually do not include the bonus features found on standard commercial releases. In some cases, a title was released only once on DVD as a promotional copy and was never made available for regular retail sale. During playback, a brief code or the text “For Your Consideration” may appear on screen. This is very short in duration and not distracting. As these DVD's were distributed exclusively to awards voters, they were produced in very limited quantities. As a result, they have become highly sought-after collectibles among film enthusiasts and collectors. Les DVD's “For Your Consideration” (FYC) sont distribués par les studios de cinéma durant la saison des récompenses. Lors de la lecture, un code ou la mention « For Your Consideration » peut apparaître brièvement à l’écran. Cette apparition est de très courte durée et n’est pas gênante.
