I usually wear a 38 in EU sizes but in this brand a 38 is a 6.5 to a 7 so I wore these several times before I realized that I needed to go up a size in this particular style. The size selection on Mercari says a 38 is 7.5 but I would buy these if you wear either a 6 1/2 or a 7 for a comfortable fit because these boots are meant to be worn for years. I bought a pair of Galway Dubarry's 5 years ago, wear them in rain and snow and they still look like new. I threw out the box so couldn't return but they've been worn less than 5 times. These retail on the Dubarry website for $499.
