French Military Surplus
A square mess kit used by the French army from the 1950s.
It consists of a 3-piece set: a large pan with a handle, a small pan, and a deep dish. All pieces can be stacked and stored within the large pan, and cutlery can also be stored inside.
Made by MMT TOURNUS in 1956.
This is not a deadstock item, so there are some minor scratches and dirt, but there are no problems with opening, closing, or the moving parts, and there are no burn marks.
Considering the age, the condition is relatively good, as M-52 mess kits often have many scratches even in deadstock condition.
The cutlery is a set of a spoon and a fork, and is a deadstock item with the ARMEE (Army) engraving.
