Production started with inspiration from a vintage fatigue jacket, a personal item of Lechoppe conceptor Kaneko.
To express the vintage feel, the material was thoroughly selected, and the atmosphere, of course, faithfully reproduces Kaneko's fatigue jacket down to the smallest details.
The atmosphere of the lock stitching on the facing, the loose parts of the bar tack stitching, the buttonhole stitching, and the rough sewing machine work – all the unique aging of vintage clothing was pursued to the extreme.
The fabric is a crisp cotton material that changes in atmosphere and texture when washed, resembling the look of fatigue jackets often found in vintage clothing stores.
