This 2003 work, conceived, conducted, and produced by the brilliant trumpeter who passed away at the young age of 49, is reissued to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
The R&B/Hip-Hop project led by Roy Hargrove, a trumpet player from Texas, USA. They released their first album, "Hard Groove," in 2003, followed by "Strength" the following year, and "Distractions" in 2006. While the members were fluid, Pino Palladino, James Poyser, Bernard Wright, Bobby Sparks, and Jason "JT" Thomas were among those involved. Hargrove passed away on November 2, 2018.
