■ "The Andy Book" is a collection of works by Bruce Weber, one of the leading photographers of the 20th century. This book features photos Weber took of Andy Minsker, a lightweight boxer in the United States at the time. In 1983, Interview Magazine, a culture magazine founded by Andy Warhol, decided to feature athletes who were candidates for the Los Angeles Olympics the following year, and Bruce Weber was asked to take the photos. However, Weber was misunderstood as forcing the athletes to wear tight clothing to emphasize their physical beauty, and he was excluded from photographing some sports, such as boxing. It was then that Andy appeared, and Weber, completely captivated by Andy's looks reminiscent of a young Chet Baker and his perfect body, began to collaborate with Andy from then on.
