Stray Dogs was produced by David Henry (Cowboy Junkies, Josh Rouse) and features Craig Krampf on drums, Paul Slivka on bass, and guest appearances by Slaid Cleaves and Alison Krauss. Despite the heady company, it's Picott's smoky delivery and confident songwriting that stands out here on Stray Dogs. A worthy successor to his remarkable debut.
