The M34E04B is a 512-byte EEPROM device, operating on the SMBus in a 1.7 V - 3.6 V voltage range, with a maximum transfer rate of 1 MHz in the 2.2 V - 3.6 V range, over a JEDEC-defined ambient temperature of 0°C to 95°C. It features a 4-Kbit serial EEPROM, organized into two 256-byte pages, or 512 bytes of total memory, with each page composed of two 128-byte blocks. The device allows selective data locking in any or all of the four 128-byte blocks, designed for use in DRAM DIMMs with Serial Presence Detect. It's protocol-compatible with the previous 2-Kbit generation, M34E02, enabling commands used with legacy devices to be applied to the lower or upper pages of the EEPROM.
